Financial Assistance/Support - First let us say that we Do Not Buy Practices. This is an important distinction between our group and most other groups out there. What Manus is willing to do is to purchase, at fair market value, all of the depreciating assets in your office. This would include furniture, chairs, equipment, computers, etc. The benefit to this is that the doctor owner gets an up-front injection of cash, which could be used to relieve any debt obligation or any other purpose the doctor owner desires. The doctor owner retains full ownership of their patient records/base and all of the good-will/equity associated with it. This is always the most valuable part of any practice and Manus has no desire for anything other than the doctor owner to be fully entitled to this asset.
Manus Dental will be fully responsible for all of the capital investments into your practice. These investments would include facilities management and improvements, equipment purchases and repairs, computer/phone system/software purchases and upkeep, build-out of a new facilities or existing facility expansion, etc. All of the things you have to spend your money on now. Technology continues to produce new and exciting opportunities for both doctors and patients with the big drawback being the expensive cost. A "solo practice" doctor can at times struggle to afford these new technologies, but Manus Dental has the resources to ensure that all of our partner doctors are working with the necessary equipment to stay on the leading edge of your profession.
Reduced Practice Overhead - Because Manus Dental is an up and coming network of dental practices, we have tremendous negotiating power with dental distributors, manufacturers, and office equipment companies to ensure that our network of doctors are able to realize prices far below what the "solo practice" doctor can typically negotiate for themselves. That means everything from gloves to composite material to office printers...we have pricing advantages. This can reduce the cost of running your practice, one of the largest benefits we bring to a doctor owner interested in partnering with us.
Administrative and Human Resources Support - Many doctors tell us that one of their biggest frustrations in owning their practice is trying to balance being a full time doctor and full time small business owner. Many doctors would much rather spend their time doing dentistry and less time doing paperwork. Sure many doctors have an office assistant or manger that they delegate these responsibilities to, but at Manus we have highly trained Human Resources and Accounts Payable personnel who know how to manage the paperwork of an office. This means that you will not have to deal with paying invoices, payroll processing, dealing with temp agencies, office paperwork, etc. We accomplish most of these items from our central location and what few we can't, we will make sure to help supervise your employees to ensure that everything is done as it should be. When it comes to complicated HR issues like hiring/firing, employee reviews, salary and bonuses, providing health insurance, managing employee benefits, FMLA, maternity leave, or any of the other myriad of HR issues a practice owner faces, we have trained HR professionals to help guide you along the way. It is important to note that YOU still have final say in all of these decisions (if you want the final say), but that our team has years of valuable experience and we would be here to help.
Continued Education and Marketing - Manus Dental is committed to comprehensive, long-term patient care. Dawson has been committed to comprehensive, quality care for over 40 years and now all Manus Dental affiliated doctors are able to attend all Dawson courses free of charge at the Chicago training facility or in St. Petersburg, Florida. This is a great accomplishment for our group to partner with such a well respected post graduate training facility and should speak volumes to our commitment in supporting our doctors in a way that is ethical and of the highest standards. In case I didn't mention it earlier...the doctor owners who affiliate with Manus Dental have FULL control over all clinical decisions in their practice. You would not be pressured or dictated to in any way on how you choose to treat your patients.
