Manus Dental Assistant Heads to Guatemala for a Two Week Dental Mission Trip
Michelle Pagan, a Dental Assistant at Manus Northwestern Oral Health Center, is embarking on a 10 day volunteer trip to Guatemala with Dentistry for All. A team of dental professionals will travel to Comitancillo, Guatemala to provide free dental services to individuals who are unable to access dental care.
Dentistry for All is a non-profit organization that travels to impoverished regions, such as Guatemala and Nicaragua, to provide dental education, prevention and corrective treatment to people who would not otherwise be able to obtain such services. Dentistry for All takes several trips every year, each trip ranging from one to five weeks in length. Since 1995, the organization has treated over 18,000 patients.
Michelle has gone on several trips with Dentistry for All over the past two years and is looking forward to her upcoming journey with the organization. Michelle will be in Comitancillo, Guatemala from March 19th through 30th assisting patients in need.
We are excited for Michelle and are proud to have such a committed dental professional at Manus!
