Dr. David Yudkowsky graduated from the University of Illinois College of Dentistry in 1985 where he earned the Dr. Kubacki award in Prosthodontics. Soon thereafter, he was invited to join as a faculty member and began teaching there as an Assistant Clinical Professor in the Department of Comprehensive Dentistry. As a Chicago Cosmetic Dentist, Dr. Yudkowsky opened his private practice in Water Tower Place in 1986 and continued teaching at University of Illinois for the next seven years.

In September of 1996, Dr. Yudkowsky merged his private practice with the Northwestern University Faculty practice and assumed the position of Associate Professor and continued to see private patients.

When Northwestern University Dental School closed, Dr. Yudkowsky continued to practice in the same location, under the Manus organization where he continues today.

During his career, he has been an active member of many dental organizations, including the American Dental Association and the local and State Dental Societies. He is an active member of and has been an officer in local Dental Study Clubs. Dr. Yudkowsky is also an official mediator for the Illinois State Dental Society.

Outside the scope of general practice, Dr. Yudkowsky has training in Forensic Dentistry and was a member of the Cook County Medical Examiners Mass Disaster Team for many years. Additionally, one day each week, Dr. Yudkowsky treats geriatric patients in nursing homes and long term care facilities.

Dr. Yudkowsky lives in Skokie with his wife and four children. He doesn't get to go scuba diving as often as he would like, but has recently taken up blues guitar.
