Dr. Robin Gay received her Doctorate of Dental Medicine from Southern Illinois School of Dental Medicine in 1985. She also received her Bachelor of Science Degree from the University of Illinois Champaign-Urbana in 1981.
Dr. Gay is committed to a patient-centered experience. Advances in cosmetic dentistry led her to pursuit of extensive continuing education in order to provide her patients the most innovative treatment. Graduation from the Hornbrook Center for Advanced Clinical Education and the Dawson Center for the Advancement of Dentistry, two of the most highly regarded centers of continued dental education, has allowed Dr. Gay to provide that outstanding, innovative dental care for her patients. In private group practice for over twenty years, Dr. Gay continues to have a love for her ever-changing profession, and is grateful for the opportunity to continue to provide the latest that dentistry has to offer her patients.
In addition to private practice, Dr. Gay is a current faculty member with the Department of Restorative Dentistry at the University of Illinois School of Dentistry. This appointment has allowed Dr. Gay to share with her students her continued commitment to excellence and continued love of her profession.
Always striving to find a balance between professional and community service, Dr. Gay has had the privilege of serving on the Women's Board of the Children's Place, the Women's Board for the Rehabilitation Institute and has been twice elected to the District 101 School Board serving as Chairman of the Education Committee.
In 2002, Dr. Gay was chosen by the Salt Lake City Organizing Committee to be recognized as a torchbearer at the Salt Lake City 2002 Olympic Torch Relay for her years of professional and community service.
Dr. Gay has two teenage children who continue to amaze and delight. She enjoys tennis, and when not involved in family or professional activities, she is constantly in pursuit of that perfect serve.
