Debby Rickelman, R.D.H.When I started with Manus Northwestern in 2006, I brought over three decades of experience as a dental hygienist with me. I have always enjoyed building relationships with patients to affect their general health by educating and motivating them to take care of their dental health. What is so great about Manus Northwestern is the cooperation of a team of professionals, including the dental specialists on staff, who share their knowledge and energy to offer patients the best dentistry possible.

Dentistry has made lots of changes since my graduation from Lake Land College in Mattoon, IL but I feel it’s very important to keep up with the new research and technologies. Here in Chicago we are very fortunate to have one of the best learning conferences every year at the Chicago Dental Society’s Midwinter Meeting. I have also taken advantage of many other continuing education opportunities including the Dawson Academy and Pac-Live in San Francisco. Belonging to a professional association has also provided many opportunities to keep abreast of all that is new and for the collaborative spirit of sharing ideas.

I grew up in central Illinois but have worked most of my career in the Chicago area. I am married to my high school sweetheart and have two wonderful adult children and a beautiful daughter-in-law.
