With over 20 years of experience in private practice, Dr. Prasad is passionate about providing gentle, high-quality dental care to both children and adults. She is known for her caring and compassionate approach, especially when working with anxious patients. By taking the time to listen and build trust, Dr. Prasad helps patients feel relaxed and comfortable in the dental chair, allowing treatment to be delivered efficiently and with confidence.

Dr. Prasad takes great pride in her work and believes every patient deserves personalized care. She has had the privilege of treating families for generations—watching toddlers grow into college graduates and welcoming former teenage patients back as parents with children of their own. Dr. Prasad earned her Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) degree from the University of Detroit Mercy School of Dentistry. Prior to dental school, she completed a Master of Science in Nutrition at Wayne State University and worked as a dietitian, bringing a well- rounded and holistic perspective to patient care. She is an active member of the American Dental Association, Illinois State Dental Society, and Chicago Dental Society. Outside the office, Dr. Prasad enjoys spending time with her husband and son, cooking, gardening, and traveling. She is also the proud owner of a spoiled cockatiel named Dusty.
